October 31st (Tue) "Let's compare shielded cables"
Shielded cables are essential for guitars and basses, but with so many types available, which one should you choose?
Many people probably have concerns like, "Is the information I find online accurate?" etc.
Therefore, this study session will be held
Does the number and structure of the core wires affect the sound? Do different manufacturers produce different sounds? How well do they match with instruments? To answer these and other everyday questions, we will conduct a hands-on workshop with performances by musicians, allowing you to hear for yourself.
We will compare several cables, including Canare, Monster Cable, and SOMMER Cable.

August 17th & August 30th: "Let's Learn About 3D (VR) Microphones"
The VR content industry has been booming recently, but information regarding audio is currently quite limited. Therefore, with the cooperation of both manufacturers, we will be holding VR microphone seminars in two locations, Kanto and Kansai, to introduce all products from 3Dio Free Space Pro and Sennheiser AMBEO VR MIC, which are representative of 360° sound-collecting microphones.
This is a unique opportunity to learn about the differences in sound pickup methods of each microphone, as well as setup and tips for using them effectively, so please join us!

March 16th: "Let's Learn About Beyerdynamic Microphones"
History of Beyer Delta
Since its founding in 1924, beyerdynamic has continued to produce high-quality, handcrafted German-made products in the professional audio field. In 2014, the company celebrated its 90th anniversary, and to this day, it continues to be a leading company in the industry, carrying on the legacy of its founder, Eugen Beyer, who believed in "technological advancement, constant product development, and the utmost quality control."
This time, AUDIO BRAINS, the domestic distributor, will introduce us to a wide range of microphones, from those for vocals, drums, and instruments from a long-established brand to the latest array microphones.

We will introduce Beyerdynamic's unique product technology, the line array microphone, with a live demonstration.
The advantages and disadvantages of vertical and horizontal speaker designs. Comparisons with standard gooseneck, boundary, and handheld speaker types, etc.

Let's all enjoy comparing the sound of slightly better microphones like the M88 and M130.

August 28th & September 5th: '3dio Binaural Microphone Experience Event'
With the advancement of video technology such as VR and 360° videos, there is a growing demand for realistic sound reproduction, and this is attracting attention. Therefore, we will be holding the first exhibition and experience event in the Kansai region where you can see all of 3dio's binaural microphones.
Date and Time: August 28th (Sun) and September 5th (Mon), 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Exhibition participation is free.
Field Recording Experience
Each session is at 11:00, 13:00, and 15:00. Limited to the first two applicants. On-site registration accepted.
Participation fee: ¥1000
You can actually take your Free Space Pro with you and freely explore the town of Nagaokakyo, where R mic office is located.

July 4th: Testing! Microphone Cable Sound Quality Comparison
While it's now common knowledge among guitarists and bassists that guitar cables and power supplies affect the sound, of course, microphone cables also affect the sound of microphones!
With the cooperation of LIVE GEAR Co., Ltd., we will be conducting matching tests of cables from Canare, Mogami, SOMMER, and others with several types of microphones. Which cable is best suited for which microphone? We might even discover some unexpected aspects of popular microphones.

Let's compare vocal microphones on June 20th.
We'll be recreating the project we did at a recent event, where we compared several different vocal microphones. If you're interested after reading about it on our blog or Facebook, please come and experience for yourself the differences in sound and expressiveness offered by various microphones.
Since it's a small group setting, we plan to deliver more in-depth content through comparative analysis.

We will be inviting an instructor from Sennheiser Japan to conduct a special training session on their wireless systems.

The vintage Tube 47 microphone was used by The Beatles, Sinatra, and Radiohead. Today, many replica 47s exist in search of that legendary sound.

Let's try it! Guitar miking workshop on February 20th - Acoustic guitar edition
Even though the guitar is a familiar instrument, musicians don't often have the opportunity to thoroughly compare and contrast different microphones when it comes to microphone placement, or to experiment with which microphones suit which sounds. This time, we'll compare and verify the differences in sound caused by microphone settings and different types of microphones through practical demonstrations. And it's on a Saturday! This seminar is a must-see for classical guitarists and singer-songwriters.
